Bypassing Facial Recognition Systems in Real-World Conditions

Pervasive sensors promise certainty at scale. The field delivers something less neat. Face recognition is only as strong as the images it receives. In fast public spaces, face capture depends on position, motion, light, and the camera itself. My work has been to map those factors and help teams design lawful privacy and better threat reads. I will use as a lens to explain limits, responsible use, and choices that keep people safe and accountable.

Control what a system sees and you control how it scores you. Know where cameras aim, how light works, and what the operator believes. Plan for error before error plans for you.
